Research In Motion Launches LinkedIn BlackBerry App

Research In Motion has approved LinkedIn's business networking application for use on BlackBerry smartphones, and made the software available via its App World marketplace.

The LinkedIn app, which allows businesspeople and professionals to form connections and communicate over the web, is available for BlackBerry Curve, Bold, and Tour devices. Another version is already available for the Apple iPhone.

So far, LinkedIn for BlackBerry is receiving generally positive feedback.

It's definitely a solid first addition, said one user, posting on the LinkedIn blog. It's easy to navigate, it's easy on the eyes and it's fairly fast which is nice,

The LinkedIn business networking platform has existed since 2003 and has more than 60 million registered users worldwide.
