Rogers ‘Navigator’ App Now Available for iPhone Devices

Rogers Wireless has launched its own mobile mapping application, Rogers Navigator, which is now available for iPhone 3G users via Apple's iTunes App Store.

The Rogers App, which is powered by TeleNav, offers 2D and 3D colour maps, as well as turn-by-turn driving directions, real-time traffic updates, and a Lane Assist' feature to help people choose the right lane while driving. Additionally, it includes a feature to search for nearby businesses, bank machines, and Wi-Fi hotspots.

Rogers Navigator is now available as a free download, but costs $4.99 per month to use. Despite its rich array of features, the monthly price tag has irked some iPhone users and led to mediocre reviews in terms of value-for-money.
